I am Linda L Maxwell. Thank you for visiting this website to learn more about my counseling practice. I hold an LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Clinician), a LADC1 (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) and an ATR-BC (Board Certified Art Therapist) license as issued by the State of Massachusetts. I provide psychotherapy to adults, couples, families and groups of individuals.

I have worked as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for the past 6 years. I specialize in Art Therapy and Relapse Prevention. There is an art studio available which can be utilized as a part of treatment should the client deem it purposeful.
In my private practice, I work with a variety of people. I am competent in working with different cultural perspectives and views. Some of my clients see me for coaching on goal setting, problem solving, relationship issues, motivation, business or career questions. I work extensively with addiction, including alcohol, drug, shopping, gambling, and smoking cessation. Other clients see me for Depression, Anxiety, and family issues. In addition, I work with clients to change core beliefs formed in childhood to help them live happier lives. I counsel couples to teach them how to be respectful yet effective with one another, resolve issues express feelings, and make different choices.
